Bangladesh grows the best quality jute.
We have a very good history of jute in exporting, it became the main source of earning during the end of last century. However because of increase in consuming poly & plastic goods, global consumption of jute products reduced significantly. Now we know all the negative impacts of plastic on our nature and jute products are now the best as the replacement.
Manufacturing of jute goods are currently located around Dhaka & some other districts in Bangladesh. We have a plan to introduce micro-level production around the country to increase capacity and hence make our contribution to socioeconomic development.
